Dr. Annie Tye, PhD
About
Annie earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Iowa, where she studied migraine pathophysiology. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado, Denver’s Anschutz Medical Campus. Her current project involves characterizing the significance of cortical spreading depression in the brain. Annie is passionate about promoting scientific literacy and evidence-based policy making. Her expertise in molecular neuroscoscience helps her to explain the neurological events behind addiction and pharmocological interactions in a digestible way. She also loves writing and getting out into nature. She has three rescued pit bulls and is an accomplished equestrian.Credentials
